Restoring Hope…

Welcome to Cruse South Staffordshire, which is part of the national charity Cruse Bereavement Care.  We aim to help anyone within our region deal with the pain of grief and restore hope; we are somewhere to turn when someone dies.

2016 is the 35th anniversary of the founding of our group.

About Us

We can help you

We need your help

The death of someone close can be shattering.  Everyone experiences grief differently; there is no ‘normal’ or ‘right’ way to grieve.  How we react will be influenced by many different things, including our age and personality, our cultural background and religious beliefs, our previous experiences of bereavement, our relationship with the person who has died, our circumstances and life experiences and how we cope with loss.   Whom can we help?

We welcome calls and e mails from any person who lives in the Lichfield District Council, Cannock Chase District Council or Tamworth Borough Council areas.  We need the bereaved person to contact us as unfortunately we cannot take referrals from other people on their behalf, although we are happy to talk to any person wanting more information about our service.

  Volunteer

We rely on our volunteers as we could not provide assistance to the bereaved without them.
If you would like to be involved, there are many areas in which we would welcome your help, whether as a trained bereavement volunteer or as an admin. volunteer. Just call the Helpline and we will contact you to discuss your interest.
